On June 10, 2008 our First Annual Los Molinos High School Scholarship Program was a huge success at the High School Class of 2008 Senior Awards night. With hard work by the Scholarship Committee, donations from Chapter Members, and a garage sale at Jenny Johnson’s home, we were able to raise enough money to award three $300.00 Scholarships to three very deserving students.
Rebecca Dimitriadis, Andrew Haley and Alethea McDonald received scholarships from the Chapter. As was heard throughout the night, the selection committees were challenged to make selections from so many deserving students. For us from the Chapter it was a very rewarding ceremony and we look forward to 2009.
We wish to thank the Principal and the staff of Los Molinos High School for their support and look forward to receiving scholarship applications from the Los Molinos High School Class of 2009!
